The game “SET” is a simple, yet engaging card game that can be used by 2 to 12 players at a time. It requires minimal setup time, and it caters to all groups of people. This is an excellent activity for families on a weekend, or even students in college who want to have fun without spending a lot of money. This is a competitive game that requires quick thinking and speed. A “SET” is a group of 3 cards, when considered individually, is either all the same or individually.  The first to see a “SET”, call out the word, and picking up 3 cards that qualify as a set is the winner of the round. Everybody has an equal chance of picking out a set because the cards are laid out in front of everybody. Each card contains a color, shape, pattern, and number. The card can either be shaded, solid, or outlined, have one, two, or three shapes, have one, two, or three figures, or a red, green, or purple color. When I played the game, it took me about 2-3 minutes to shuffle the deck and get the cards set up on a small table. The drawback to this game is that people may get aggressive if they see a “SET” at the same time, and some minor injuries may occur if people interfere with each other.
