Hopkinton High School was anxiously awaiting the girls varsity field hockey game on Sunday, November 16, to compete for the state championship. Before the tournament, the Field Hockey team had an impressive record of 6-2-6. After winning the TVL, a major accomplishment, the girls qualified to move on to the tournament. First, the team took on Medfield, followed by Harwich. Next, the girls played Bishop Stang, and their victory there won them the title of Southern Division Champs. Then, a win against Watertown guaranteed the team a spot in the division 2 states game. The outcome? The varsity field hockey team returned victorious! As a result, the team will move from division two to division one next year. Congratulations, girls!
