As senior year draws to a close, senior students here at HHS experience the school wide epidemic: Senioritis.
Senioritis (n). A crippling disease that strikes high school seniors. Symptoms include (but are not limited to) laziness, a lack of studying, repeated absences, and a generally dismissive attitude. The only known cure is a phenomenon known as graduation.
Numerous factors contribute to this widespread epidemic, such as the beautiful May weather, plans for next year already being in place, and knowledge that graduation is only two weeks away.
Curing senioritis is no easy task. Seniors advise each other to power through and enjoy the last few days with the class.
