Baseball:
Hillers 4 @ Medfield 5 (8 innings)
Friday, April 9th, saw the varsity baseball team begin their action on the diamond at Medfield. Junior Drew Simi doubled and drove in 2 runs, while senior Evan Park pitched 7 innings, allowing only 4 hits and 1 earned run. But the Hillers fell to the Warriors in 8 innings, by a score of 5 to 4.
Softball:
Hillers 9 @ Medfield 5
Saturday, the girl’s softball season opener, also at Medfield, saw the Hillers defeat the home side 9-5. Heather Holly went 2 for 2 with a double and notched the win in relief, striking out 3 in her 3 innings of work. Lindsey Whittles also got off to a good start at the plate going 2 for 5, with a triple a 4 RBI to help lead the way to the opening win.
Both teams are on the road Tuesday, April 14th, at Millis, weather permitting.
