The Impact of the Coronavirus on My Life

This is a photo of me in my bedroom. My bedroom is where I spend the majority of my time doing homework, watching Netflix, and playing video games.

The coronavirus pandemic has changed my life in ways that I would have never imaged when I initially heard about it.

Not having school has been the biggest change in my life so far.

About a month ago, I was used to waking up early, getting dressed, eating breakfast, and driving to school to take my classes each weekday.

Now, I only have classes four days a week, use my laptop to go to class, and wear my pajamas to them too.

Alongside not having a regular school day, I am also missing out on hanging out and socializing with my friends and peers.

I am also not able to attend any of my usual after school activities, such as robotics and the photography club.

Similar to my afterschool activities being canceled, most of the fun one-time events were canceled this year too. Senior projects, senior assassin, the robotics world championship, prom, and the list goes on.

I am hopeful that this pandemic will end soon and that the well-being of the world returns to normal quickly.
