The Hopkinton High School Yearbook club is looking for more members to help create the 2010-2011 yearbook. The club meets every Thursday after school until 3:00. Mrs. Gianino, an art teacher at Hopkinton High School, became the yearbook advisor about three years ago when Mr. Mahoney, the former advisor, retired.
“I decided to bring back the yearbook club this year because several students weren’t able to fit Yearbook into their schedule. It also brings a fresh perspective when we have some tough decisions to make,” said Mrs. Gianino on creating the club.  (Last year, the yearbook was created in a class.)
Joining the club is a great opportunity for students to put their creative talent towards the school’s yearbook. The club members do everything from creating titles and captions to designing the cover and the pages in between.  “The students make the entire book from start to finish. It’s as real world as we can get here at HHS,” said Mrs. Gianino.
Come by any Thursday afternoon in C207 at 2:00 to join!
