Over 100 photographs entered in the 2009 Student Photo Contest

This year’s photography contest was a success in the eye’s of the photo club. With over 100 entries it must have been difficult for judges Mrs. Dunn and Mrs. Gianino to choose the winners. Mrs. Dunn said these were, “the most competitive submissions I’ve ever seen. The color submissions were particularly strong this year.  People seemed to photograph things that weren’t just pretty and I really liked that.”  The photography club is very proud of this year’s results.  The club looks forward to next year’s contest and hopes even more students will enter. This year’s prizes included iTunes gift cards to the top winners. Prizes will be handed out at the next photo club meeting.

Best In Show- Ryan McLean; Color 1st- Cait Danahy; Color 2nd- Jaclyn Perreault; Color 3rd- Dan Quigley; Color HM- Patrick Ferguson; B&W 1st- Matt Cosmo; B&W 2nd- Megan Kelley; B&W 3rd-  Fae Risio; B&W HM- Katie Pelgrin
