On Saturday, January 16th, the BE Free club is sponsoring an event unlike any it has had before! From 7:30pm until 10:00pm, there will be an ice skating party at New England Sports Center by the Solomon Pond Mall. Sign-ups begin on January 11th during lunch and last until January 16th. The cost is $6.00, and the sooner a student signs up, the more likely it is that they will be able to come because there is a limit to the number of people there can be on the ice. Also, there is a waiver that students must have signed by their parents. These can be picked up at the sign-ups. It is alright if students don’t have the waiver the day they sign-up. It is recommended students try to bring their own skates because the sizes will be limited at the rental shop. This is a new event for BE Free, and hopefully it will go as planned so there will be many more!
