The girls varsity lacrosse team opened the spring season missing three starters and fell at home to league opponent Dover/Sherborn Friday afternoon 10-11.
Yet, three freshmen stepped up with goals, including Caroline Murphy and Maddie Staus with one apiece;Â but it was Maggie Dolan who netted three in a row, leveling the game and canceling an early deficit to pull the Hillers back into the contest. Dolan finished with 4 goals and an assist.
Next, the girls travel to Ashland, Thursday, April 2, for a 5:00Â PM start.
