Panda In A Bamboo Forest

By: Mady McKenna (Mady McKenna band photos, Ryan McLean band photos)
Last Friday night, Panda In A Bamboo Forest played in the Battle of the Bands. Unfortunate for Cam Linares, Craig Muscanell, Adam Cohen, and Doug Markson, Shut Up James was the winner. They accepted the defeat well after playing their best set out of all of the practice runs.

They had an interesting set, which began with Patrick Ferguson and Nate Messier playing “The Final Countdown” by Europe on the bass and synth. Soon after, the band members ran on stage and announced the return of Blink-182 while playing “Dumpweed” followed by four other songs. Their last song, “Fat Lip” by Sum 41 was their best performance. Overall, I was impressed with their lively presentation and engaging stage presence.

I don’t think Doug is too upset about winning.
