The 2010 HHS Art Department Annual Honors Exhibition will soon be on display at the Cultural Arts Alliance. “Not only does the show give the students an opportunity to have their work displayed in a gallery,” explains Sandra Livis, president and executive director of the CAA, “It allows the CAA to offer the community access to great art.”

Tuesday night, March 2, parents and teachers where invited to ask questions of the final two principal candidates, Dr. Sarah Ahern and Ms. Alyson Geary, in the high school auditorium for a public forum. This question and answer session helped give Superintendent Dr. Phelan valuable feedback from attendees, as well as giving the public a chance to get to know the next high school principal. According to Dr. Phelan both candidates are so strong, “I really can’t make a bad decision on this.” Continue reading ›

Students and Administration Explore Academic Integrity

On February 11, a student from every advisory met at a Summit Meeting to voice their ideas about academic integrity at Hopkinton High School. The administration is turning to students this year in hopes of gaining knowledge about student cheating. Call for Submissions: HHS PHOTO CONTEST

Call for Submissions: HHS PHOTO CONTEST sponsored by Photo Club encourages all students to enter their best photography in this year’s contest. All photography accepted (darkroom and digital, color and black & white). Printed photographs must be at least 5x 7 and submitted in the submission box located in C203.  Digital files must be emailed to hhsphotoclub@gmail.com. New deadline Friday, March 5th. Prizes will be awarded for the best images in two categories: Color and Black & White. Any HHS student can enter. See Mady McKenna for any questions.

On the Long Road to Victory: Hiller Varsity Wrestling

The Hiller’s Varsity Wrestling team dominated visiting team Shepard Hill last night, January 12th. The Hillers (4-8) started off with a struggle, losing 18 to 0 in the first three matches, but they quickly recovered and did not allow their opponent to score again.
